About

Lone Star Love for Tanzania is a Texas based non-profit dedicated to helping improve the lives of the impoverished people of Tanzania. We are a new organization, but we are working with an existing organization based in the Karatu region of Tanzania in the town of Gorfan. Our dream is that every child in the Gorfan community will thrive!

We are a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible.

Mission

To reduce the effects of poverty, lack of education, limited access to food, water, and other resources, negative societal influences, and other harmful conditions on the women and children of Tanzania.

Our Goals

To receive public and private gifts and grants, as well as initiate income-producing activities to support services and special projects.
To provide support through funding and materials to organizations in Tanzania serving orphans and women in need.
To organize projects to support the housing and education needs of orphans in Tanzania.
