Careni is in Class 1 of primary school.  Her mom became a single mom when her father abandoned them several years ago and struggles to provide for her basic needs by finding casual labor.  As a primary student, she also needs exercise books, shoes, and school uniforms.
She continues to receive a great deal of support through the New Smile Center.
